Introduction
Itinerary：China University of Science and Technology—Nangang Mountain System: Nangangshan Hiking Trail(9-5 Peak、Thumb Mountain、Six Giant Rocks、Xiangshan Photography Platform)—Nangang Mountain System: Xiangshan (Mt. Elephant) Hiking Trail—Hexing Coal Mine(Mini Cultural Trip Culture Sites)—Tiaomi Old Trail(Mini Cultural Trip Culture Sites)—Wuxing Street Shopping Area or Xinyi Shopping District
Starting from China University of Science and Technology, the journey heads towards the Nangang Mountain System. Located on the eastern outskirts of the Taipei Basin and connected to the Si Shou (Four Animals) Mountains, it's a popular hiking route. The hike to Jiuwu Peak offers a stimulating and enjoyable journey with significant elevation changes. The impressive views from Muzhi Mountain and Six Giant Rocks are also worth the visit.
Next, head to the Xiangshan Photographers’ Platform for unique shots of Taipei 101. Continuing upwards, the trail reveals expansive, stunning views. The route leads to Hexing Mine, where you can appreciate the interpretative facilities and imagery of coal mining.
