I/ Activity Period: 11:00 on Dec. 1, 2024 to 23:59 on Dec. 31, 2024.

II/ Activity Participation:

Followthe Humans of Taipeifan page, and proceed to a 2025 Taipei New Year’s Party venue (including the Diversified Theme Markets, interactive installations area around Taipei City Hall, Theme Decorative Lighting areas, installation area in the East District’s Longmen Square), take an on-site group photo of any activity (photo must have people in it), upload it to thethe Humans of Taipeifan page and leave a message, for immediate lucky draw participation.

III/ Prizes:

• Grand Prize: iPhone 16 Pro/128GB, one winner (valued at NT$36,900)
• Second Prize: Garmin Venu 3 GPS Smartwatch, three winners in total (each valued at NT$14,990).
• Third Prize: Apple AirPods 4, one winner (valued at NT$4,490).
• Fourth Prize: New Year’s Party Rock and Roll Zone admission passes, total of ten sets (one prize winner each set, each set for two people).

IV: Prize Redemption Method

1. The list of winners for the fourth prize (Rock and Roll Zone admission passes) will be announced on the Humans of Taipei fan page on 12/13/2024 (Fri). Winners are requested to send a private message to the organizer providing personal contact and shipping information (name/mobile phone number/shipping address) before 23:59 on 2024/12/15 (Sunday) to facilitate follow-up contact to claim one’s prize. Failure to do so will be deemed as a forfeiture, with the winner automatically determined to have given up their qualification to receive the prize.
2. The list of winners for the grand, second, and third prizes will be announced on the Humans of Taipei fan page on 01/03/2025 (Fri). Winners are requested to send a private message to the organizer providing personal contact and shipping information (name/mobile phone number/shipping address) before 23:59 on 01/08/2025 (Sunday) to facilitate follow-up contact to claim one’s prize.

       Failure to do so will be deemed as a forfeiture, with the winner automatically determined to have given up their qualification to receive the prize.

3. The event prizes will be sent in batches. All fourth prizes are expected to be shipped before 12/16/2024 (Mon); all grand, second, and third prizes are expected to be shipped before 01/31/2025 (Fri).
4. Participants must use their own Facebook account to leave a message. Facebook group accounts have only one chance to win. By participating in this activity, you authorize the organizer to modify and make deletions to the comment you upload for the activity.
5. According to the tax laws of the Republic of China, if the value of Prizes and Awards Won by Chance exceeds NT$1,000, the winner must fill in a Prizes and Awards Won by Chance income remuneration form and provide the required identity documents and relevant documents in accordance with the regulations, and the equivalent income will be included in the individual’s personal annual comprehensive income tax return. If the winner is unable to cooperate, the individual will be automatically deemed to have forfeited their qualification and their prize eligibility will be cancelled. For a prize where the total value exceeds NT$20,000, 10% must be withheld as tax, and the organizer will also issue relevant income tax withholding documents to the winner. For non-residents of the Republic of China (i.e., nationals who have resided in the Republic of China for less than 183 days, and foreigners) must withhold a 20% Prizes and Awards Won by Chance tax on the winning value regardless of the amount of the prize. If the winner refuses to pay the withholding tax after being notified by the organizer, the individual will be deemed to have forfeited their qualification and their prize eligibility will be cancelled.
6. The actual details and specifications of the prizes are determined by the material objects. The prizes cannot be replaced, transferred, or exchanged for cash. The organizer is not responsible for the use and maintenance of the prizes after they are sent.
7. For any matters regarding this activity not delineated above, the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government reserves the right to reserve, modify, suspend, and interpret the contents of the activity.
